David Kusko

David Kusko was born in El Paso, Texas on April 30, 1959 and passed away on Dec. 15, 2025 from complications due to pneumonia. But he was a fighter. He suffered an incapacitating stroke on March 31, 2024 and during the last 21 months of his life he fought off pneumonia four times, as well as Covid and lung cancer.

Everyone knew him as the guy who’d load up the truck and help a friend move, rise before the sun to go fishing for walleye and cheer on the Ohio State buckeyes. He always wanted to see the ocean (which he did) and see the world (which he did not). Now that his pain is gone and his body laid to rest, may his spirit be carried along a breeze and drift lightly among the clouds over the cities he longed to see.

Dave’s surviving sisters Ann and Liz and brother Daniel will surely miss him.
