Donald R. Little, age 72, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born on June 14, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, Donald was the beloved son of James and Bennie Little. Over the years, Donald lived a life of adventure and laughter. He held various positions throughout his career, most notably working security for the Cincinnati Bengals and serving in juvenile probation, where he dedicated himself to helping troubled youth find better paths. Donald married the love of his life, Lisa Little (Kring), and together they built a life full of stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He was truly one of a kind, the funniest person you knew, the one who brought the chaos, marched to the beat of his own drum, and turned everyday moments into adventures. Life around Donald was never quiet, never boring, and always full of heart. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially wildlife and fishing trips to Canada, which held some of his happiest memories. A devoted sports fan, Donald proudly cheered for the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Affectionately known to many as “Uncle Buck” or “Unckie Dunky,” Donald shared a special bond with his nieces, nephews, great‑nieces, great‑nephews, and extended family. He had a gift for making each person feel uniquely seen and deeply loved in his own unforgettable way. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lisa Little (Kring); his parents, James and Bennie Little; and his brother, Jeffrey Little. He is survived by his daughter, Amber (Ryan) Chandler; granddaughters Rylee Chandler and MacKenzie Chandler; his brother Joe Little; sisters Linda Krecsmar-Cummin, Judy Ade, and Debbie Horlocker(Little); along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family. Donald’s legacy lives on in laughter, stories shared around family gatherings, and the adventurous spirit he passed on to those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. As per Donald’s wishes in lue of funeral services there will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
