Lynn M. (Pierce) Hawthorne, 78 of Centerburg, OH passed away Tuesday morning March 17, 2026 at home with her loved ones. She was born on May 23, 1947 in Marcey, OH to the late LeRoy Pierce and Alice ( Bohn) Carman.  

For over twenty years, Lynn worked as a school bus driver for Gahanna Lincoln School District, a role she carried out with dedication, care, and a strong sense responsibility. Above all, Lynn was very devoted to her family. She found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and those cherished memories will live on in their hearts. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Lynn is preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Glenn A. Hawthorne, and survived by her daughters, Holly (Chuck) Frabott of Centerburg, KiKi (Geoff) Gayer of Cincinnati, and Heather Hawthorne of Centerburg; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn, Megan, Sydney, Alexander (Jenna), Charlotte, and Aidan; great grandchildren, Candice, Riley, and Parker

A private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
